Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a thriving Builder/Developer with a strong workbook of high end luxury apartment projects.

Over the past few years our company has won numerous awards due to the extremely high level of finish achieved on our projects. Our client is looking for an experienced operator to join there focused and dedicated team to share in the success we expect to achieve on all our future projects.

This is an opportunity away from the mainstream construction industry, with a quality Builder/Developer who has a vision for only quality not quantity. Our projects are all unique and boutique, and built to the highest level of finish. We pride ourselves on this and select subcontractors on quality of service rather than cheapest price, and this is reflected in our results.

Your New Role

  • Take the lead role as Project Manager on the Sutherland Shire’s most exclusive high end boutique apartment project, a project that will set the benchmark for the area.
  • Ability to multi-task and be across multiple priorities at a time
  • All project planning and programming
  • Undertake project cost reporting to senior management on a monthly basis
  • Work with Contracts Administrator (CA) to formulate and procure all project trade packages
  • Assist CA with subcontractor monthly claim assessments and material procurement orders
  • Implement company safety and QA compliance and administration with the Site Manager
  • Engage and finalise all authority approval and project compliance requirements

Experience & Capabilities

  • Minimum 7 year’s experience with a Tier 2 construction company or similar
  • Sound understanding of contract management
  • Sound ability to read and understand design documents
  • Strong understanding of building techniques and management of subcontractors
  • Experience in Jobpac or similar cost management cloud based platform
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project and Microsoft office and TIKS
