Project Coordinator (SA)

Construction Recruitment Group have being appointed to recruit a Project Coodinator for our client in South Austsralia The candidate will be reporting to the Construction Manager, you will take primary responsibility for project scheduling activities. The key to success will be your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients as well as the Construction Manager, who directly oversees the site supervision team.

You will be involved in the full construction process lifecycle and will work closely alongside a team of site-based and administrative construction project support. Clear, professional and thorough, written, and verbal communication will ensure expectations are clearly set and delivered upon in agreed timeframes to ensure project delivery excellence.


  • Project scheduling
  • Scheduling and coordination with site management and staff
  • Client liaison
  • Preparing project reports
  • Attending, conducting and minuting site meetings
  • Obtaining quotes and purchase orders
  • Assisting in the review of initial estimation
  • Managing variations and pc sum tracking
  • Reviewing architectural plans
  • Conducting financial and final project reviews


  • Australian construction industry work experience essential 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, not a pre-requisite, however highly regarded.
  • Min 3 years’ working in a project support/assistant project  manager role or similar
  • Commercial and industrial design and construct exposure
  • Start to finish project scheduling
  • Negotiating with trades, reviewing quotes and issuing purchase orders
  • Updating schedules and reporting to clients
  • Identifying costs, variations and presenting to client and notifying of delays
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Practical problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Meeting tasks and project deadlines in required timeframes
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and project management tools
  • Intermediate to advanced administration/IT/computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Drivers licence
  • White card
