Construction Site Supervisor (Defenced Work Prefered) 

CRG has Joined up with one of WA’s most awarded commercial contractor with over 20 years’ industry experience in the Perth and Albany market, providing a construction service to a broad range of industries. We are a privately owned company that operates as a family business.
 

Your Opportunity

We have a vacancy in our Construction Division for a Construction Site Supervisor. We require a minimum of 5+ years’ experience supervising commercial construction projects within the Australian building industry and the enthusiasm to take your career to a new and challenging level.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills, as well as a high level of computer literacy. A positive attitude, good work ethic and attention to detail are a must, along with the ability to have the crucial conversation where it is needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise multiple projects from award to hand-over, through a hands-on management approach.
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
  • Understand scope of works, engineering specifications and drawings through Procore Construction Management System
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Possess the ability to solve problems promptly and have a can-do attitude (own the issue or problem)
  • Advanced IT skills and experience using Procore Construction Management System or similar system.
  • Supervise subcontractors to make sure all standards, regulations and codes are met. Whether this be quality, costs, schedules, or safety issues.
  • Review of all JHA’s, SWMS’s and work procedures and make recommendations where required.
  • Coordinating the planning, preparation and execution of daily activities and making recommendations to improve quality, reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Defence work prefered
