Our client is a highly recommended residential / Hotel commercial builder that has been established on the Gold Coast for many years. With there current project in Southport they have a healthy pipeline of work ahead for many years to come. 
  
Our client is looking fore for an experienced Assistance Project Manager / Senior Contracts Administrator to take the next step located on one of their Gold Coast on there residential / hotel high-rise development.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager & Construction Manager you will be responsible for motivating subcontractors and managing their expectations with regards to tenders / payments and claims in accordance with their contractual conditions and programme

With project values upwards of $80M+ you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to high value builds with the support of a strong team and become the Assistance Project Manager on this project
  
Your responsibilities will include:
 

• Assist in project planning and preparation for site construction.
• Establish and monitor daily/weekly programme/work schedules
• Prepare contracts for awarded packages to be reviewed and approved by the legal team
• Manage tender process for subcontractors, including making recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Over see all invoices and progress claims.
• Monitor and evaluate all subcontractor variation requests.
• Compile monthly cost and progress reports for the directors and Construction manager

To be successful for this role:
 

• 8+ years as a Senior CA in the residential / commercial construction industry in Australia
• High rise apartment experience is essential.
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Have excellent accuracy & attention to detail
• Be able to negotiate and have good communication skills
• Degree qualified in a related discipline
