About the role

As a Structures Foreman , you will play a crucial role in overseeing residential construction project in the Perth inner city area. Responsible for managing teams of skilled tradespeople, you will be the driving force behind the successful delivery of complex construction initiatives. This full-time position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate and supervise teams of construction workers, including delivers and site staff

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols

• Liaise with the project manager, Site Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects

• Monitor and report on progress, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks

• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship

• Provide on-site training and mentorship to less experienced team members

• Assist with the coordination of material deliveries and equipment maintenance

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience as a Structures Foreman or similar role in the construction industry

• Proven track record of leading and motivating construction teams to deliver high-quality results

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions on-site

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
